Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared the key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy M33 5G on Twitter. This is not the first time we are hearing about the specs of the handset. But the latest leak suggests a different set of features than the old one.

First and foremost, the device is now said to be powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC instead of Exynos 1200. This is the same chip that runs the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G.

Secondly, it will feature a 50MP (wide) + 5MP  (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) quad-camera setup and not a 64MP quad-camera system comprising of an 8MP ultra-wide unit, 5MP macro snapper, and 2MP depth sensor.

Finally, it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging as opposed to a 6,000mAh battery reported earlier.

Further, the phone will arrive with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will boot One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. Sadly, it will lack a 3.5mm headphone jack and an in-box charger.

Last but not least, the Galaxy M33 5G will be built around a 6.6-inch FHD+ display (LCD) with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Due to the type of the screen, the smartphone will house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
