vivo Smart Devices on Weibo today posted multiple images of the vivo Pad — the company’s very first tablet rumored to be released next month.

The post amusingly said that since the boss requested posters of the product on short notice, all the marketing team could manage were a few actual images. We aren’t complaining though, since the set of images is perhaps the clearest look at the tablet we’ve had to date.

Starting with the rear of the device, there is a circular camera module that looks to be housing at least two lenses inside. This circular module sits inside another island — rectangular this time. A tipster had earlier stated that vivo appears to be going big on round camera modules this year with its upcoming flagship phones, but it seems tablets will be adopting it too. Aside from that, the overall build is metallic and boxy, with squared-off edges.

A keyboard accessory is supported by the vivo Pad as customary, and it frankly looks plenty inspired by the Magic Keyboard you can stick iPads into. It has a flap at the rear which the tablet can lean on, allowing for a laptop-like experience.

Judging from the official renders, the vivo Pad will be available in sky blue and space grey color options. The tablet also supports ecosystem features such as smartphone linking, seamless file transfers, and mobile app controls.

The vivo Pad has already passed 3C certification with model number PA2170, confirming that it chargers at 44W.

Digital Chat Station earlier revealed that the vivo Pad is equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip, has a 120Hz LCD display, supports 44W fast charging, and has a 7,860mAh battery. The price is expected to be around 2,000 Yuan, meaning the tablet will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi Pad 5, Honor Pad V7, Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro, etc.
