HMD Global has just begun rolling out the Android 12 update for another one of its smartphones. The device in question is the Nokia XR20, which was first launched with Android 11 back in 2021.
According to XR20 owners on Twitter (Via GSMArena), certain users are receiving the Android 12 OS update in Finland. In other words, it is the latest model from the Finnish brand to receive Google’s latest Android operating system build. Notably, the new OS version is labelled V2.300 and appears to be rolling out over the air already. Although, it is currently available in certain parts of Europe at the moment.
After downloading and installing the latest software update, the XR20 will run the Android 12 update along with the March 2022 security patch as well. To check if you’ve received the update, you’d have to check in the software update section in the settings app. Apart from the new mobile operating version, the XR20 owners would likely also receive a number of new features that Google packed into Android 12 OS. Keep in mind that this update is rolling out in a staggered manner, which means you won’t immediately receive the update. But it should make it additional regions in the coming weeks.
