Samsung launched the Galaxy XCover Pro a few years back and since then the brand hasn’t released its successor. This is about to change, as some 5K renders of the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 have emerged on the Internet revealing the design and specs.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 seems to carry forward the rugged smartphone design. The device sports a 6.56-inch Infinity-V display. It basically a water-drop notch panel, which despite having the modern aspect ratio, has some noticeable bezels on all sides.

The phone has the following measurements – 169.5mm x 81.1mm x 10.1mm. The phone has a side-mounted finger scanner for added security. On the right spine, it has the volume rocker.
Unlike the predecessor, the XCover Pro 2 will be a 5G smartphone and will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G or Exynos 1280 SoC. The smartphone features a dual-camera system at the rear and a single camera on the front. The pixels of the sensors aren’t known as of yet.
The device will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It is said to pack a removable battery and will boot on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box.
Some of the other specs of the phone remain unknown. But we expect to see more details in the coming days as we move towards its release.
