Last week, Oppo announced the ColorOS 12 Q2 2022 rollout plan for eligible devices which are yet to receive the Android 12 update, and ahead of schedule, the company has begun the closed Beta testing on a couple of A and F series devices ahead of the schedule.

The devices receiving these ColorOS 12 Beta builds are the Oppo F19 and the F19s and the Indonesian versions of these devices, which are known as the Oppo A74 and the Oppo A95.

Oppo has commenced the first Beta testing phase on these devices and has kept the participant limit to 5000 users. To participate in the beta program, users of the Oppo F19, F19s, and A74 should be on firmware version A.23. Users of Oppo A95 on the other hand need to at least be on firmware version A.09. If you have the required firmware version, you can apply for a spot in the beta test by simply following the steps below.

Click ‘Settings’>> ‘Software Update’>> Click the settings icon on the screen>> Apply for Beta Version>>Update Beta Version. And then follow the guide to applying.

The selected applicants will get the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 beta build via OTA within 3 working days from the day of selection. If the applications quotas are full, you can wait for the next round of beta testing to participate. As for the stable release of Android 12 on these devices, the company is yet to put out any timeline, however, Oppo will likely unveil a stable release timeline in its next month’s rollout plan, so stay tuned.
