iQOO will be announcing the iQOO Neo6 today at 5 PM (local time) in China. In the past few days, the Chinese manufacturer has revealed the design and key features of the Neo6. Hours before the official announcement, the Neo6 has a model number of V2196A popped up in the database of the TENAA certification with full specifications.

The TENAA listing of the iQOO Neo6 states that it measures 163 x 76.16 x 8.5mm and weighs around 197 grams. It has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. iQOO has already confirmed that it supports a 120Hz refresh rate and packs a 4,700mAh dual-cell battery that supports 80W fast charging.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is present under the hood of the iQOO Neo6. The device is equipped with 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB storage. The device lacks a microSD card slot.

The Neo6 has a 16-megapixel camera for snapping selfies. Its rear camera unit has a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. iQOO has confirmed that the main camera of the Neo6 will have support for optical image stabilization.

It is expected to come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and OriginOS Ocean UI. For security, it features an in-screen fingerprint scanner. iQOO has revealed that the Neo6 will come in black and orange colors. Rumors have it that it will also arrive in a blue option.

The iQOO Neo6 will replace the Neo5 from last year. The Neo5 key specs include a 6.62-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, the Snapdragon 870 SoC, OIS-enabled 48-megapixel triple cameras, and a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
