OnePlus has officially announced its partnership with JioPages. JioPages is a web browser by Jio Platforms and it is entirely designed in India. With this collaboration, OnePlus plans to offer a faster, ad-free, and feature-rich browser experience to OnePlus TV users.
With JioPages coming to the Oneplus TVs, users will get a faster chromium engine migration that catches up with new web trends, offering an updated and secure browsing experience. The JioPages browser is said to be faster, safer, and custom-made for television screens.
One highlighting feature about the JioPages is that it comes with an in-built Adblocker, meaning you no longer have to see unwanted adverts. There’s also a VPN and a Secure Mode in the browser. The VPN will offer unfettered access to global websites and also ensure safety with the Secure Mode.
On the OnePlus TV, users are also set to experience one-click link openings. Users can add their favorite weblink to the home screen so that they can quickly access it next time. OnePlus users will also have access to curated videos across a variety of categories.
Personalized experience with regional languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujrati, and others are also available. Lastly, there’s also Study Mode, which provides curated educational content.
