For those unaware, the brand is working on a new K10 series of smartphones for its home market of China. While the Chinese smartphone maker had previously launched a K10 series in the overseas market, this version is different from the model that came with Snapdragon 680 SoC. Unlike the mid range models, the Chinese K10 series is more of a premium grade offering. As per our previous report, the K10 Pro was spotted on TENAA and is expected to launch with a Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Now, the base K10 was also spotted on the Chinese certification website, carrying the model number PGJM10. Looking at this listing, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC, which is also in line with our initial reports. This chipset is also a high end chipset and will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. On the front, the device is said to sport a 6.59 inch FHD+ display that offers a high refresh rate.

Live images of the Oppo K10 on TENAA also showcase the device with a punch hole cutout on the top left corner of the screen. This cutout will house a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the rear will house a triple camera setup, consisting of a 64 megapixel primary sensor, paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The device will likely run on Android 12 based ColorOS 12 out of the box and will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging.
