US phone manufacturing company BLU has launched its first 5G smartphone, bringing an affordable model in the 5G category.  The phone dubbed BLU F91 carries a price tag of $300 but will be on sale for $200 during the first flash sale.BLU F91 5G

The BLU F91 features an expansive 6.8-inch LCD screen with an FHD+ display of 2460 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display features a hole-punch opening at the front which houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Apart from capturing beautiful selfies, the front camera also acts as a face unlock. there is also a fingerprint reader mounted on the side.BLU F91 5G

The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. The processor is a 6nm processor which packs two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The chipset pairs with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and a 5G (sub-6) modem. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD slot.BLU F91 5G

For photography, the F91packs a 48 MP Samsung GM1 sensor with support for night mode with multi-frame noise reduction. The main camera teams up with a 115° ultra-wide-angle camera with a 5MP sensor, a 2MP macro cam, and a 2 MP depth sensor in a Quad-camera arrangement.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging. The F91 runs on the Android 11 operating system out of the box. Inside the box, there is also a charger, a USB-C cable, a headset, a glass screen protector, and a rugged case. BLU F91 5G

As for the price, the BLU F91 5G will be sold on Amazon in the US. It is presently retailing for $200 but will berth at $300 after the flash sale.
