OnePlus is all set to release its first Dimensity 8100-powered device this month. The OnePlus Ace will debut tomorrow i.e., April 21, and the event will be held online. Here’s how you can watch the launch event.
How to Watch the OnePlus Ace launch event
The OnePlus Ace will debut at 7 PM China time (4:30 PM IST/11 AM UTC) on April 21. The launch will be streamed on OnePlus’ official Weibo page. As usual, we will be covering the event here on Gizmochina, so stay tuned for the latest information on the OnePlus Ace.
The device will be announced in two of its colors variants – Black and Blue. The phone is expected to arrive in the mid-range segment.
OnePlus Ace Specifications
The OnePlus Ace will come with a similar design as the Realme GT Neo 3, but with some tweaks. The smartphone will come with a flat-edged frame having rounded corners. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch punch-hole display with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be an E4 AMOLED panel with HDR10+ support.
As for the optics, it will have a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup at the rear. Here, the primary sensor will be a Sony IMX766 unit, while the secondary sensor being a Sony IMX355 unit. On the front, it will feature a 16MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K33P9SP unit.
Coming to the hardware, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone is confirmed to pack a 4,500mAh battery with whopping 150W SuperVOOC fast charging support. As per official claims, the phone can go from 0% to 100% with just 17 minutes of charge. The device will boot on Android 12 OS and have OxygenOS 12 on top of it.
