iPhone 14 series specs (rumored)

For the iPhone 14 series, Apple is said to ditch the notch and rather go for a punch hole and a pill shape cutout to house the Face ID hardware and front camera. On the topic of font camera, the entire iPhone 14 lineup will get an updated front-facing camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture and support for autofocus.

The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are also expected to come with an upgraded rear camera configuration and possibly feature a 48-megapixel wide lens as the primary sensor with support for 8K video recording. This is expected to result in a thicker camera bump for the smartphones, as revealed in the recently leaked renders.

Previous reports have also tipped that the Pro and non-Pro models will have a significant difference between them this time around. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are expected to be powered by the A16 Pro chip, while the vanilla iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max models will be powered by the Apple A16 Bionic chip which is said to be a slightly improved version of the A15 Bionic.
