The speculations and rumors surrounding the yet-to-be-released Google Pixel Watch are gradually unraveling. Google has filed a trademark for the Pixel Watch which could indicate that the device could be launched anytime from now, possibly within 2022. As per the trademark filing itself, Google says the Pixel Watch will cover the categories of smartwatches, watch cases, smart wearable computers, smartwatch bands, and straps. It is unclear whether the date specified on the trademark filing (April 22, 3022) is correct, but the application has been accepted by the USPTO. The filing is reported to have met the minimum requirements and awaits the assigning of an examiner.
