Xiaomi-backed POCO is gearing up to launch its new F-series smartphone dubbed POCO F4 GT globally in just a couple of days, on 26th April.
Similar to other launch events from the brand, this one too will be held virtually and will be live-streamed for everyone to watch. It will be live-streamed on POCO‘s YouTube channel as well as other platforms like Facebook and Twitter from 8 PM Beijing time (12PM UTC).

The POCO F4 GT features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that Full HD+ screen resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate along with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There’s a possibility that the company could also launch a 12GB RAM model. The phone has mechanical shoulder buttons aimed at gamers.
As for the camera department, there will be a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front side, there’s a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The phone runs the latest Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. To know the phone’s pricing and availability details, we will have to wait for the official launch event.
