Apple had announced a new service that surprised everyone. It had launched a new self repair service program for some of its iPhones and Macs. Now, the company has included additional models of its iPhones within this program.

For those unaware, the new Self Repair Service was launched by the Cupertino based giant in the US. This allowed users to purchase genuine products from the company’s website and then repair the device from an official manual guidelines. The program now includes the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series device, along with the iPhone SE (3rd generation). So now, people looking to repair their devices by themselves by purchasing the parts from the Apple Self Service Repair Store.
Notably, the program is also quite helpful for those that are most experienced in repairing electronic devices. On the repair store, users have the option to purchase a spare display, camera, and even battery pack as well. Furthermore, the company also plans on launching a repair program that will include manuals, parts, and tools for repairs on Mac computers with the brand’s proprietary chipsets.

Keep in mind that you should review the repair manual for the product you wish to repair before placing an order on the website. Apart from this, Apple is also offering tool rental kits for 49 US Dollars, which let customers use them for a week and eventually returning it. This kit will be shipped free of cost as well. At the moment, the self repair program is limited to just the US, but the brand has plans to expand it to other regions like Europe later this year.
