ZTE Axon 40 Series to Feature Next-Generation Stereo Speakers

ZTE may have the answer for you if what you’re looking for is a premium pair of speakers on your flagship smartphone as the company is due to launch its flagship ZTE Axon 40 series in China in May 2022.

Today, ZTE has posted another teaser for its upcoming ZTE Axon 40 series launch in China, and the teaser poster reveals that the Axon 40 lineup is to feature next-generation stereo speakers from the company. The poster reveals that the next-generation stereo speakers could provide an out-of-this-world audio experience as the Axon 40 series has incorporated Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound and dtsX Ultra sound technology into the devices’ speakers. ZTE even describes the audio experience as a shockingly thunderous one.

As teased last week, the top-end sibling of the Axon 40 series, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has been announced to sport a triple 64MP+64MP+64MP camera setup. The main sensor is a 64MP Sony IMX787 main wide lens with OIS support, the secondary sensor is a 64MP ultra-wide OmniVision OV64GB sensor, and the zoom lens is a 64MP OmniVision OV64GB telephoto unit with OIS support as well.

Other highlights to be anticipated for the ZTE Axon 40 series are ZTE’s new under-display selfie camera technology for the lineup, the revolutionary full-screen flat display with a screen-to-body ratio just shy of 100%, and its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
