OPPO is reportedly working on the Reno 8 series of smartphones for China and global markets, including India. Speculations are rife that the Reno 8 lineup will debut by the end of this month in China, whereas the other markets will receive it by June. Last week, popular tipster Mukul Sharma (aka stufflistings) revealed the configurations of the Reno 8. A new tweet by the tipster has revealed the configurations and color options of the Reno 8 Pro.

According to Sharma, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro will feature a 6.5-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. While it may support up to a 120Hz refresh rate, the leak does not reveal anything about it. In all likelihood, it could be an AMOLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Sharma further said that the Reno 8 Pro will be available in two variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will come in colors such as Glazed Black, Glazed Green, and Blue. The tipster had previously revealed that the Reno 8 will come in choices like 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. He also claimed that the vanilla model would also arrive in a 12 GB RAM variant.

The Reno 8 Pro heading to China will be equipped with the Dimensity 8100 chipset and MariSilicon X NPU. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specs of the device. It is unclear whether the same Reno 8 Pro will land in India and other markets.

The OPPO Reno 8 headed to China will be equipped with a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen and will run on the Android 12 OS with ColorOS UI on top. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It will come with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) triple camera system.
