Honor 70 series will reportedly come with a huge Sony IMX800 primary camera sensor. The information comes from the tipster Digital Chat Station. The Honor 70 series is expected to arrive as the successor to the Honor 60 series. However, the brand hasn’t announced the exact launch date yet.

The Sony IMX800 sensor is yet to be released, and it is tipped to measure 1/1.1” in size. This will make it the biggest in the industry and edging Samsung’s 50MP 1/1.12 GN2 sensor. Apart from this, there is no additional information on the sensor. 

Recently, an Honor phone with model number FNE-AN00 was spotted on the 3C certification site as well as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The smartphone is speculated to be the upcoming Honor 70 series. As per the listing, the alleged phone will be 5G compatible and come with 60W fast charging support. 

The Honor phone will model number FNE-AN00 is said to be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display bearing a 1080p resolution. It will reportedly use a BOE screen and support PWM high-frequency dimming. The device is expected to be backed by a 4,800mAh battery unit. 

The Honor 70 series is expected to consist of standard, Pro, and Pro+ variants with the former said to come with a Snapdragon 7xx series processor whereas the latter two are tipped to be powered by a Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 chipset respectively. The Honor 70 series will likely come with a flagship advanced camera system.
