Today, Vivo confirmed that it will be announcing the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro at 7 PM (local time) on May 19. At the same event, it will also unveil the new Vivo TWS Air earbuds. The company may announce new variants or color options for Vivo Pad and Vivo Watch 2 alongside the S15 lineup and TWS Air.

Two Vivo phones with model numbers V2199A and V2203A have appeared in the database of Chinese certification platforms such as TENAA and 3C recently. Both phones are expected to arrive in China as the Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro. The entire specs of the vanilla model have appeared at TENAA, but the certification has revealed all the key specs of the Pro model.

The TENAA listing of the Vivo S15 has revealed that it will feature a 6.62-inch OLED FHD+ display. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform and have a 4,500mAh battery. The rear-facing triple camera unit of the phone will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. It will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro/depth sensor. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera.

According to the rumors, the Vivo S15 Pro will arrive with a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz screen coupled with an independent display chip, a Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 4,500mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a 50-megapixel main camera. Both handsets will boot to the Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean UI on top.

Reports have claimed that the Vivo S15 series will not be selfie-focused smartphone like its predecessor. The S15 lineup is expected to rival the OPPO Reno 8 series, which is slated to launch later this month in China.
