A recent report revealed that Motorola is working on a new Razr clamshell with the “Maven” codename. The report also carried the first live shots of the device and revealed some of its key specifications. However, it did not mention anything about the screen size of the display. Now, display analyst Ross Young has revealed that the upcoming Razr will be blessed with larger displays.

Young claimed that the next Motorola Razr will have a 6.7-inch foldable screen instead of the 6.2-inch display, which was made available on the predecessor, the Razr 5G. It appears that the company will also be increasing the size of the cover display.

The device is expected to arrive with a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. The latter may also function as a macro snapper. It may come with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It is rumored to houe a 2,800mAh battery, but there is no word on its fast-charging capabilities.

The Maven model is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. however, Motorola may release another variant featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC. Motorola is likely to announce its Razr clamshell by late July or early August in China. It is also expected to release in global markets. It may come in two colors: Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue.’
