DOOGEE has announced the launch date and price for its latest S98 Pro rugged smartphone. The phone which comes in a unique Alien-inspired design is all set to launch on 6 June 2022 for a world premiere discounted price of $329 only.

The Alien-inspired unique design of the S98 Pro has won the brand the prestigious European Good Design Award. The rugged smartphone comes with a specially designed rear camera island which apparently is inspired by an Aliens head and to complement this theme the brand has also come up with an exotic alien-inspired protective case.
The highlight feature of the DOOGEE S98 Pro lies in its specially designed rear camera island. The island holds a pro-grade thermal sensor in the center flanked by a 48MP SONY IMX582 primary camera and a 20MP SONY IMX350 night vision camera. This triple sensor combination gives you detailed pictures and images that can properly detect and diagnose dampness, elevated temperatures, blockages, etc. Moreover, with the Dual Spectrum Fusion algorithm, you can combine images from both the thermal camera and the main camera into one picture. For your selfies, you have a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9SP sensor in the front.
DOOGEE S98 Pro is fueled by a 6000mAh battery and supports 33W ultrafast type-C charging and 15W wireless charging. The rugged phone sports a 6.3” FHD+ LCD IPS waterdrop display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, expandable up to 512GB.
However what makes the phone truly rugged is its IP68/ 69 K and MIL-STD-810G certifications which make it dustproof, waterproof, and perfect for the harsh outdoors. Other interesting features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a customizable key, a virtual tool kit, and Android 12 out of the box.
DOOGEE S98 Pro goes on sale on 6 June 2022. The smartphone will debut on AliExpress, DoogeeMall, and Linio (Latin America) shopping platforms. The brand has said that the rugged phone will be available at a retail price of $439. However, as a part of the world premiere sale, you can buy DOOGEE S98 Pro for $329 only.
