Francis Wong has become the CEO of Realme Europe. Previously, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for India, Europe, and Latin America divisions. Wong has taken over the new position from Madhav Sheth. To recall, Sheth was appointed as CEO of Europe back in 2020. Since then, he has also taken on bigger roles and responsibilities whilst also becoming President of Realme International Business Group last group.

Madhav Sheth has been a part of Realme since its inception in 2018. He has been leading Indian and European teams in increasing the brand’s presence in the market.

Francis Wong Realme Europe CEO
Francis Wong will take over the Realme Europe CEO position from Madhav Sheth

With Wong taking the CEO position in the European division, Sheth still remains the CEO of the India branch. This will also allow Sheth to handle his workload better. Earlier it was him managing both India and Europe divisions. Also, Realme Europe will get a dedicated CEO focusing solely on one market.

Wong was actively engaged with the Realme community. He was often found teasing new products. You might have come across Wong’s tweets if you follow Realme’s product launches. It will be interesting to see how Realme prospers under Francis Wong’s leadership in the European market. Only time will tell.

In other news, Realme is set to launch the Narzo 50 5G series smartphones as well as Realme Watch SZ100 in India tomorrow. The Narzo 50 5G series will come in standard and Pro variants and will be the newest addition to the existing Narzo 50 lineup. The upcoming offerings are teased to come with the fastest 5G processor and best cooling technology in the segment.
