Earlier this week, we had reported on Realme planning on launching another new tablet in China soon. The company had previously launched the Realme Pad and Pad Mini, and now, a new higher end variant is expected to be released soon as well.
This new tablet will be a part of its Pad series, but will feature a flagship grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. While finer details are still unknown, it is also expected to sport an LCD panel that has a QHD+ resolution and support for 120Hz high refresh rate. Under the hood, a large 8,360mAh battery pack is believed to power the device. Although, this all of this information was only based on our previous reports.
Earlier today (19th May 2022), The Chinese smartphone maker’s VP Xu Qi took to Weibo to share another new teaser for the upcoming tablet. This teaser didn’t share a lot of information, but he did add that the upcoming tablet will be the king of its price range. In other words, it will feature some top notch specifications that makes it stand apart thanks to its competitive price tag.
It also means that the latest Realme Pad will be the cheapest tablet with a Snapdragon 870 processor. As of right now, not a lot of information is available regarding this matter. But our initial reports had also mentioned that the tablet will be launching later this month alongside an upcoming Naruto special edition of the Power Bank 3 Pro on May 26. So stick around, as we will be covering the launch event.
