Samsung has announced the Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon Edition in its home market of South Korea. The Pokemon-themed limited edition Galaxy Buds 2 will come with some Pokemon accessories including stickers, a Poke Ball carrying case, and a strap loop.
There are 11 limited-edition stickers available for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon Edition. The stickers are Pikachu, Ditto, Dragonite, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Lapras, Jigglypuff, Gengar, Mew, and Eevee. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon Edition is not yet available but will be priced at 134,000 Won ($106). Five color variants are available for the Galaxy Buds 2 namely olive, onyx, graphite, white, and lavender. The carrying case of the device is compatible with the Galaxy Buds Pro and the device offers a two-way speaker system.
The Galaxy Buds 2 supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and offers up to 20 hours of playback with its charging case. The battery can go up to five hours on a single charge, which can be further enhanced with ANC disabled. About 5 minutes of charging will deliver up to 60 minutes of activity for the Galaxy Buds 2. This is in addition to Qi wireless charging for the device.
There are still several details lacking for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon Edition. It is unclear whether the product will be sold outside South Korea. Samsung is also silent on the unveiling date for the device.
