Other reports surrounding the Reno 8’s Indian variant suggest that it could be arriving as India’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform. The Reno 8 for India is likely to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it may feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It may come with a 32-megapixel front camera, and a rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. It may run on Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1.

The SDG71 powered device may feature up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It is likely that the Reno 8 duo may go official by mid-June in India.
