Chinese company Honor has unveiled the Watch GS 3 with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display in India. The Honor Watch GS 3 features a slim, lightweight body and is priced at Rs. 12,999 (~$167). The smartwatch will be on sale from June 7 in India via Amazon.in.
The new Honor smartwatch in India comes with a decent specs sheet for its stated price. Its AMOLED screen has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels with a 3D curved glass. It has a RAM/ storage combination of 32MB/4GB and the watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices (Android 6.0 and later, iOS 9.0 and later). The Watch GS 3 has a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calling. It is rated 5ATM water and dust resistance, while its battery can last up to 2 weeks.
The HONOR Watch GS 3 offers 100+ workout modes including 10 professional sports and 85 custom sports modes. Sensors available in the smartwatch include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, optical heart rate, ambient light, and air pressure. It also features blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. The HONOR Watch GS3 weighs just 44g without the strap with dimensions 45.9×45.9×10.5mm. The new smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.0, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC, among others.
Black, blue, and classic gold colors of the HONOR Watch GS 3 will be available from June 7 on Amazon India. HONOR is offering some discounts to Bank of Baroda and Citi Bank card holders. This limited-period offer will see buyers getting a 9-month EMI subscription and a 10% instant discount.
