Huawei has launched its latest noise-canceling headphones in China for 499 yuan ($75). The Huawei FreeBuds 5i is being marketed as a great accessory for the young. Excellent sound quality, multi-mode noise reduction, and ear adaptation technology are featured in the FreeBuds 5i.
Huawei FreeBuds 5i is designed for the young and fashionable at heart. It sports a family-style cobblestone design and a rounded shape. Three color options are available for the FreeBuds 5i namely interstellar black, island blue, and ceramic white. The new wearable is a very comfortable non-sensing device and can be used for extended periods. It comes lighter than its predecessors. The length of the sound mouth of the device is also shortened for greater comfort. The FreeBuds 5i is adaptable to the user’s ear canal structure for a less invasive listening experience.
The FreeBuds 5i has a battery that can deliver up to 28 hours of activity and supports fast charging. According to Huawei, 15 minutes of charging can deliver up to 4 hours of listening. The earphones are equipped with a 10mm moving coil unit, combined with a polymer diaphragm to deliver high-quality audio output.
The device is also Hi-Res gold standard certified. Noise reduction is accomplished via the FreBuds 5i dual hybrid technology. This enables the device to accurately pick up noise using dual microphones and the speaker emits reverse waves. The FreeBuds 5i offers a combined noise reduction capability of 42dB.
The original price of the Huawei FreeBuds 5i is 599 yuan ($90). However, Huawei is offering a reduction in the price of the product during the pre-sale period. This has resulted in the discounted price of 499 yuan ($75) for the FreeBuds 5i.
