Ever since Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Flip lineup, its internal storage has been limited to 256GB with no support for MicroSD card expansion.

Last year, the South Korean electronics giant debuted a lower 128GB model with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and, as a result, the starting price was lowered. In 2022, the company is said to finally upgrade the maximum storage capacity to 512GB.

According to an exclusive report by SamMobile, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 will arrive in three storage options, such as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The new maximum storage option will be offered for variants with model numbers SM-F7210, SM-F721U1, and SM-F721N.

Further, since the smartphone is expected to retain the price of its predecessor, the publication also hints at the pricing of all three storage versions. It says that the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models of Galaxy Z Fold 4 could retail at $999, $1049, and $1100 respectively.

Apart from higher storage, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to come with a 12% larger battery and a 2+ inch cover display.
