According to the official Twitter account of Poco India, the forthcoming Poco F4 5G will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset underneath it. The brand calls this chip the ‘most optimized processor’, and it ain’t wrong.

The same SoC is also found inside last year’s Poco F3 5G, which goes by Mi 11X 5G in India and Redmi K40  in China. The chipset also powers other popular flagship killer smartphones like the iQOO Neo 6 (India), iQOO 7 (India), Realme GT Neo 3T, and Realme GT Neo 2.

Thanks to a leak, we know more about the Poco F4 5G apart from its SoC. The device is nothing but a rebranded Redmi K40S

Therefore, the Poco F4 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. Its chip will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The handset will boot MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. It will come with dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster.

Last but not least, the Poco F4 5G will feature a 64MP OIS-assisted primary camera instead of an OIS-assisted 48MP main camera on the Redmi K40S. Anyway, it is expected to have the same 8MP ultra-wide unit, 2MP macro snapper, and 20MP front-facing shooter.
