Xiaomi has officially released the Xiaomi TV EA Pro in China. The smart TV comes in three sizes comprised of 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch units. The Mi TV EA Pro series is available for pre-order in China and it starts at ¥1,999 (~$296) for the base model.
Xiaomi TV EA Pro has some impressive features including a 4K display. The TVs support 4K HDR streaming with better brightness and clarity. Xiaomi’s built-in image quality adjustment technology is also supported in the new TVs. Also featured are MEMC motion compensation and a powerful color display.
The Xiaomi TV EA Pro series offers a full-screen design with a screen-to-body ratio between 95% and 96%. The fuselage of the models comes from an integrated molding process using unibody metal. The frame of the TV and the backplane also offer greater integration. Connectivity options for the new Xiaomi TVs include HDMI, USB, AV, Antenna, and network cable options.
The built-in stereo of the Xiaomi TV EA Pro series supports DTS sound decoding using a balanced and intelligent sound system. The Xiaomi TV EA Pro series also has the MediaTek MT9638 chip for high-frequency screen activities and daily multitasking. The device runs on MIUI TV 3.0 and offers a 2GB/16GB RAM/ storage configuration. There are no details at this time on the global availability of the new Xiaomi TVs.
