OPPO Reno 7A has been announced in Japan. It succeeds the Reno 5A from last year. Some of the key features of the Reno 7A include an IP68-rated body, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and a 5G-ready Snapdragon 6-series chip. The OPPO Reno 7A features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner. It offers an 89.4 percent screen-to-body ratio.  It supports an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 409ppi pixel density. It houses a 16-megapixel camera for snapping selfies.

The rear shell, which sports a matte finish, features a triple camera unit. It comprises of a 48-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone boots to Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12 on top. For security, it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 695 chipset fuels the OPPO Reno 7A. It is equipped with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. It offers IP68-rated dust and water resistance. The device measures 159.7 x 73.4 x 76mm and weighs around 175 grams.

The OPPO Reno 7A is priced at 44,800 Yen (~$334). It can be purchased in Starry Black and Dream Blue colors. Since Reno A series phones are exclusively available in Japan, it is unlikely to release in other markets.
