Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi announced the Redmi Note 10S in May 2021. It was made official with a starting price of Rs 14,999. Now, the company has announced a price cut of up to Rs 2,000 (~$26) people who wish to purchase the Note 10S.

The Redmi Note 10S is available in India in two configurations: 6GB RAM + 64GB storage for Rs 14,999 (~$192) and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs 15,999 (~$205). A new variant offering 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage was unveiled in December 2021. It was announced for Rs 17,499 (~$224).

With a price cut of Rs 2,000, the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant is now available for Rs 12,999 (~$167). The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants are now available with Rs 1,000 (~$13). With the discount, both models are available for Rs 14,999 (~$192) and Rs 16,499 (~$218), respectively. It appears that Note 10S may have received a permanent price. The device can be purchased in four colors: Cosmic Purple, Deep Sea Blue, Frost White, and Shadow Black.

The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera unit. It runs on the Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The Helio G95 chipset powers the device with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It offers other features such as dual stereo speakers and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
