Realme China’s President Xu Qi has hinted when Realme will be announcing the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. The company had revealed in May that the phone would be arriving in Q3 this year. However, it appears that the Realme executive has revealed the exact month in which the phone will be unveiled while chatting with Realme fans on Weibo.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be arriving as a successor to the GT Master Edition, which was announced in July last year. The Snapdragon 870-powered device was made available with a starting price of 2,899 Yuan (~$432).

Realme GT 2 Master Explroer Edition July launch

In response to a Weibo user asking for a smartphone priced around 3,000 Yuan (~$447), Xu Qi hinted about its upcoming smartphone, which will launch in July. Since the GT Master Edition went out in July 2021, it is likely that its successor may launch in the same month this year. In addition, the GT 2 Master Edition has already appeared at TENAA certification with all its specifications and images, which indicates that its July launch is inevitable.
