Earlier this year, CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A23 5G appeared online revealing its design and dimensions. Now, the device has appeared on Geekbench’s website revealing its key specifications.

According to the listing, the smartphone has the model number “SM-A236U.” It houses an octa-core chipset with six cores clocked 1.8GHz and two performance cores clocked at 2.21GHz. The chipset comes paired with Adreno 619 making it pretty evident that it is the Snapdragon 695 SoC.

Other than that, the device comes with 4GB of RAM and operates on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Coming to the benchmark results, the device manages a score of d 674 in the single-core test and 2019 in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.

Previously, reliable tipster OnLeaks shared the renders of the Galaxy A23 5G revealing that the smartphone will come with a waterdrop notch for the front camera along with thick bezels around the screen. On the back, it will look similar to last year’s Galaxy A32, A52, and A72 and will likely come with a quad-camera setup.

The right side of the phone will have the volume rocker and a power key, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and the bottom will house a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The device will measure around 165.4 x 77 x 8.5mm excluding the camera bump.
