Following the successful launch of the iQOO 9 series in India earlier this year, iQOO is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next flagship phone, called the iQOO 9T, in the country. A recent report by 91mobiles revealed that the smartphone will make its debut in India in July. The publication is now back with some fresh information about the phone’s key specifications. It has also been revealed that the 9T has bagged approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The iQOO 9T has appeared in the database of BIS with the I2201 model number. While the listing suggests the phone will be ready soon, it does not mention anything about its specifications. As mentioned above, it will probably break cover in the country in July. It remains to be seen whether it debuts as India’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
