Acer recently launched the new Aspire 7 laptops in India with the latest Intel and AMD CPUs along with Nvidia’s 1650 GPU. Now, the brand has also launched its Aspire 5 laptop in the country. So let’s take a look at its specs and features.
Acer Aspire 5 specs & features
The Aspire 5 is a gaming laptop housing some serious power, however, the company has blessed it with a clean, low-profile look, unlike the usual gaming machines.
It offers a 15.6-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display with a screen-to-body ratio of 81.18%. It features Acer’s Color Intelligence that helps produce more accurate colors and is also easy on the eyes using the Blue Light Shield.
Coming to the hardware, the laptop ships with a 12th-Gen Intel Core i5-1240P processor at its heart paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 2050 GPU with 4GB VRAM. The laptop comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM, however, both the RAM and storage expandability are quite good with the laptop offering RAM upgradability support up to 32GB and storage expandability up to 2TB using two M.2 slots.
For thermal management, the Aspire 5 has dual cooling fans and dual copper thermal pipes, along with an air inlet keyboard to increase airflow. Other than that, the laptop comes with a 720p HD webcam and a fingerprint reader for security. As for connectivity solutions, the device brings Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, a Thunderbolt 4 port, 3 USB-A ports, and an HDMI port.

The Acer Aspire 5 has a price tag of Rs 62,990 ($798) in India. It can be purchased from the Acer online store and Amazon India. Additionally, customers can also find the laptop on the shelves of Acer Exclusive stores and Croma stores near them.
