Oppo recently teased the India launch of the latest Reno 8 series. It is tipped to debut in India on July 21. Ahead of the launch, the specifications of the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 have started to emerge online. Recently, we learned about the expected prices, the storage variants, and the color options of smartphones. Today, a noted tipster is here with the specifications of the upcoming Oppo Reno 8, 8 Pro, and Oppo Pad Air, which may launch alongside.
Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) shared on Twitter the possible specification of the Indian variant of Oppo Reno 8, 8 Pro, and Pad Air. Given the track record of the tipster, the specifications could be legit.
Oppo Reno 8 Specifications (Leaked)
According to the tipster, Oppo Reno 8 Indian variant will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90.8 screen-to-body percentage and 90Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 409ppi pixel density. The smartphone will house a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone will also get a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor on the front.
The device will be fueled by a 4500mAh battery and support 80W fast charging. It will run ColorOS12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Oppo Reno 8 will measure 160×73.4×7.67mm and weigh 179 g. The handset will be available in two colors- Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro Specifications (Leaked)
As per the leak, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro Indian variant will be powered by Dimensity 8100-Max Soc, which was also found in the OnePlus 10R 5G. It will also feature Oppo’s proprietary Marisilicon X imaging chip. The smartphone will come with dual Sony flagship sensors and will be capable of recording 4K Ultra Night and 4K Ultra HDR Video. Oppo Reno 8 Pro is said to be the slimmest reno series phone with 7.34mm.
As per the tipster, the device’s fingerprint sensor is pretty impressive, it can unlock in 0.2 seconds. The smartphone will come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Oppo Reno 8 Pro will be priced between Rs. 42,000-46,000 in India.
Oppo Pad Air Specifications (Leaked)
Oppo will also be launching the new Oppo Pad Air in India. According to the tipster, the Indian variant of Oppo Pad Air will come with a 10.36-inch 2K IPS LCD panel. It will have quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The tablet will feature Snapdragon 680 under the hood and will be fueled by a 7100mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging. The device will have 4GB (Plus 3GB virtual) RAM and 128GB storage. It will be 6.94mm thick.
