The IE 600 has a ZR01 amorphous zirconium covering that makes the device have hardness and bend resistance. The ZR01 zirconium material is a popular choice in the aerospace industry due to its optimal properties. It is what the powerful drilling head of the Mars Rover is made from. The surface of the IE 600 is protected against corrosion and scratches.

The Sennheiser IE 600 is produced via a special 3D printing process. While the design of the IE 600 was done in Germany, it was manufactured in Ireland by Sonova Consumer Hearing. Apart from its ruggedness, the IE 600 also comes with acoustic quality. Its acoustic back volume and precision-molded resonator chambers provide high fidelity output. The sound system of the IE 600 has been fully optimized to produce deep bass.

The Sennheiser IE 600 delivers distortion-free sound output using its TrueResponse transducer with a 7mm driver. This offers a wide frequency range for the headphones. The IE 600 allows for a wide variety of inputs as it supports 4.8mm cables or smaller. Silicone and memory foam earbud tips are available in three sizes in the IE 600. Sennheiser says the IE 600 delivers a neutral reference tuning for its incredibly passionate customers. The Sennheiser IE 600 is priced at Rs. 59,990 (~$756) and it will be available across online and offline platforms.
