Nubia is all set to launch a new flagship phone called the Nubia Z40S Pro in China. The company revealed that it would be announced at 2 PM (local time) on July 20.

The Nubia Z40S Pro moniker indicates that it may be an incremental upgrade over the Nubia Z40 Pro, which was unveiled earlier this month. While the Z40 Pro featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the Z40S Pro is likely to arrive with the enhanced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Some posters released by the brand reveal that the Z40S Pro will have a 35mm custom-made main camera, which will support hardware-level optical blur. It will be assisted by a 50mm ultra-wide camera, and as shown in the image, there will also be a periscope telephoto snapper.

Shown below is a leaked image of the alleged Z40S Pro. It reveals that it will be equipped with a flat display with almost symmetrical ultra-thin bezels on all sides. It appears that the Z40S Pro may borrow some of its specs from the Z40 Pro. Nubia is rumored to release an anime-based special-edition version of the Z40S Pro.
