OPPO has a couple of devices lined up for the remaining months of this year, claims tipster Digital Chat Station. He claimed that a new Find X5 series phone will be released in China as early as next month.

According to the tipster, OPPO may launch a new Find X5 series phone in August. The device will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The tipster did not divulge any other information about the device’s specs.

In all likelihood, it could be an enhanced version of the Find X5 Pro, which debuted with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip onboard earlier this year. Last year, OPPO collaborated with Kodak to launch a limited-edition Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition in the second half of 2021. So, it’s still not clear if the rumored Find X5 Pro variant will also come in a limited-edition version.

Several reports have claimed that OPPO could be working on its first clamshell phone featuring a foldable display. DCS said that the Dragonfly-codenamed clamshell phone from OPPO could come out later this year. In addition, the successor to the Find N foldable phone is also said to be in the works. The tipster claimed that the Find N2, which is codenamed “White Swan,” may also debut in 2022.

The other OPPO products that are expected to be released this year include the ColorOS 13, OPPO Watch 3, and the OPPO Band 2 fitness tracker. It appears that OPPO may hold a mega launch event later this year to announce some of these products on the same platform. The event will probably be held in September or October this year.
