Xiaomi has rolled out the MIUI 13 update for the Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge in India. The Android 12-based MIUI 13 brings some user improvements to the MIUI 12.5E which came with the devices. The 11i and 11i HyperCharge were released in India back in January. A detailed changelog is not available for the new update but it offers an improved user experience.Xiaomi Mi 11i All Colors Featured

The MIUI 13 update could precede a subsequent Android 12 OS upgrade for the two smartphones in the subcontinent. The Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge are basically the same models except for their different battery capacities and charging speeds. While the 11i comes with a 5,160mAh battery with 67W charging, the HyperCharge model packs 120W charging for its 4,500mAh battery. The 11i HyperCharge is slightly lighter than the 11i and also more expensive.

The two smartphones are powered by the Dimensity 920 chipset and have a 6.67” FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Their triple rear camera setup includes a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front camera completes their camera system. Both models have side-mounted fingerprint readers. The 11i HyperCharge has a different name in China, as it is the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. More details about the MIUI 13 update will be available subsequently.
