Oppo has just recently announced its first Android tablet, the Pad Air, for the Indian market. However, the new tablet has yet to be made available for sale. But, its set to release in the region tomorrow. So, here’s its pricing, specs, and some special launch offers.
For those unaware, the Chinese tech giant had announced the new Pad Air tablet in India last week. It arrives with a massive 10.6 inch IPS LCD panel that has a 2K resolution and standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the new device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the rear, it features a lone 8 megapixel camera, while the front houses a 5 megapixel selfie shooter.
A huge 7,100mAh battery pack powers the Oppo Pad Air tablet, which also supports 18W fast charging. Other features include a microSD card slot for memory expansion by up to 512GB, USB Type C port for charging and data transfer, reverse charging support, quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5, and it is also compatible with the brand’s Stylus Pen as well.
The tablet will be available in India in a single Gray color option, but is offered in two storage configurations. This includes a 4GB + 64GB model that costs 16,999 INR (roughly 212 US Dollars) and a 4GB + 128GB model that has a price tag of 19,999 INR (roughly 250 US Dollars). The new tablet will be available exclusively via Flipkart and Oppo Stores. The company is also offering a 5 percent cashback offer on Axis Bank Card purchases. Apart from this, buyers can also avail 3 months of YouTube premium subscription.
