The Redmi K50i 5G is set to go on sale for the first time in India. The new smartphone will be released during the highly anticipated Amazon Prime Day Sale 2022, so let’s have a look at its pricing and special launch offers.
Talking about the smartphone first, it sports a 6.6 inch Full HD+ LCD panel that has a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC that is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the rear, the handset features a triple camera setup, which includes a 64 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor.
Meanwhile, the front has a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. The device is powered by a large 5,080mAh battery pack that also supports 67W fast charging as well. Other features include, USB Type C port, side mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, and Android 12 OS based MIUI 13. For connectivity, it offers dual SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and Galileo. The Redmi K50i will be launched in India in multiple color options, namely Quick Silver, Stealth Black, and Phantom Blue.
It will also be available in two storage configurations, with the 6GB + 128GB model costing 25,999 INR (roughly 325 US Dollars) and 8GB + 256GB model having a 28,999 INR (roughly 363 US Dollars) price tag. The Chinese tech giant is offering a 3,000 INR discount with ICICI bank cards and EMI transactions. Apart from this, buyers can also avail a 2,500 INR exchange bonus as well. Notably, the brand will also offer an exclusive exchange offer to Redmi K20 users, which will bring down the Redmi K50i’s price tag down to just 12,449 INR (roughly 56 US Dollars).
