Nothing recently debuted its first attempt at an Android smartphone dubbed the Nothing Phone (1). The device went on its first sale on July 12 in India and has since sold out every time within minutes of getting restocked.

According to a promotional banner on Flipkart, the Nothing Phone (1) will be available to buy on July 30 at 12 PM IST. As a promotional offer, customers will get a Rs 2,000 instant discount when purchasing the phone with an HDFC Bank Credit Card and EMI transactions.

The Nothing Phone (1) comes in two colours: black and white, as well as three storage capacities: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 32,999, the 256GB variant costs Rs 35,999, and the top-tier 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 38,999.

The Nothing phone (1) has a 6.55-inch OLED Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a typical brightness of 500 nits, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The panel is capable of 10-bit color and HDR10+. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. The device also comes with the Nothing OS, which is very similar to the stock Android 12 experience.

The device has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and EIS. It also has a 16-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor with a field of view of 114 degrees. The 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor powers the selfie camera.
