The Vivo Y30 5G has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a waterdrop notch display and a thick bottom bezel. The company claims that it offers a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button of the device. The handset also carries support for face unlock.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y30 5G has the Dimensity 700 chipset. It is equipped with 6 GB of RAM, 2 GB of extended RAM, 128 GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device runs on Android 12 OS with FunTouch OS 12 UI On top. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports only 10W charging.

The Vivo Y30 5G is a rebranded version of China’s iQOO U5e smartphone. The only difference between the two models is that the U5e supports 18W charging.
