Xiaomi has launched two new pairs of wired earphones in China. The audio accessories are officially called Xiaomi Capsule Earphones and Xiaomi Capsule Earphones Pro.
These earphones are priced at ¥99 ($15) and ¥129 ($19), respectively. The company hasn’t revealed when these products will be available for purchase and whether they will be released in international markets.

As the name suggests, the two new earphones from Xiaomi are part of the same series. Both of them feature a capsule-like design. However, they differ in almost all other aspects.
The vanilla version comes with a single driver, while the Pro model houses dual drivers. The length of the wire measures 1.25 for both of them but only the Pro variant’s cable is braided.

Further, the Pro version sports a gold-plated 3.5mm headphone jack and a three-button inline remote control. On the other hand, the vanilla model arrives with a regular 3.5mm headphone jack and single-button inline remote control.
Thanks to the lack of many features, the Xiaomi Capsule Earphones weigh lighter at 13g as compared to Xiaomi Capsule Earphones’ 16g weight. Either way, both ship with three different-sized pairs of skin-friendly silicone ear tips.
