Sheth added that Realme will launch a 5G compatible smartphone in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket. This means that it could be available between Rs 10,000 – Rs 15,000. The affordable 5G phone is a much-needed addition in the brand’s portfolio since the next-generation connectivity rollout is expected to happen in a few months in the country. The executive said that the shipment of Realme phones will be better this time as the global chipset shortage crisis has started. This also suggests that the Realme 10 series could arrive in the H2 2022, since the Realme 9 lineup was supposed to debut in 2021. We can expect the Realme 10 to launch in October just before the Diwali festival.

As per Sheth, Realme is also set to enter 2-3 new categories in the consumer durable segment. The company will share more information about this soon. Recently, Realme launched its first-ever monitor called the Realme Flat Monitor FHD.
