OnePlus had scheduled a launch event today, i.e., on 3rd August, to announce its new smartphone dubbed OnePlus Ace Pro in the Chinese market and the OnePlus 10T for the global markets.

Now, the company has taken to Weibo to announce that the launch event has been postponed, and all the activities related to the event have also been canceled. OnePlus has not yet revealed the reason behind postponing the launch event.

OnePlus will soon make a follow-up announcement which should reveal more information. It is not yet known if it’s only the Chinese launch event that has been postponed or if the OnePlus 10T launch for the global markets has also been postponed.

Interestingly, Motorola also canceled its launch event yesterday without revealing the reason for it. The launch event was likely to announce the upcoming Moto X30 Pro and the Moto Razr 2022 foldable smartphone.

OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. It will feature support for HDR10+ and will also be capable of producing 1.07 billion colors.

In the camera department, there will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There will also be a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset. It will come with an eight-channel vapor chamber, and the 4,800mAh battery will support 150W fast charging.
