The Nothing Phone (1) made its debut last month. The phone has been up for sale in European countries including the UK, and also in certain parts of the Asian continent. Now, almost a month after the initial launch, Nothing has confirmed the Phone (1)’s Japan availability.

Today, Nothing Japan Twitter handle announced the launch and pre-order dates for the upcoming Phone 1. As per the company, the Nothing Phone (1) will be up for pre-order in Japan from August 10. The device will be made available for sale on August 19.

The smartphone will be sold in the country through some of the largest electronics stores like Yodobashi, Yamada, and Bic Camera. In addition, the device will be available to order online through Amazon Japan. The official Japanese pricing of the device has not been revealed yet. In the European markets, it comes with a starting price of 399 euros.

So far, customers have mixed reactions about the Nothing Phone (1). Some really like the unique design and smooth OS of the smartphone, while others are not very impressed with the performance and build quality of the device.

If we talk about the specifications, the Nothing Phone (1) flaunts a 6.55-inch FHD+ flexible OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC that is specially optimized to support wireless charging. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

For Photography, the device packs a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear, while the front houses a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging.
