OnePlus unveiled its latest iteration of mobile software dubbed OxygenOS 13 at the OnePlus 10T launch event last week. The Android 13-based software is now available for the OnePlus 10 Pro in beta form.

OnePlus 10 Pro review featured 2

OnePlus has released the first public beta build of OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. The software is currently limited to the OnePlus 10 Pro sold in India and North America (unlocked). The model sold in Europe will be added to the beta program in the near future.

The company is calling the beta build ‘OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1’. We expect multiple releases to happen in the coming weeks ahead of the stable rollout.

In order to install the beta software, users have to first download the appropriate file from the announcement post. Additionally, North American users have to also download an APK provided in the post and install it.

Then, they will have to enable ‘Developer options’ by tapping 7 times on ‘Build number’ under About device > Version. Finally, they have to navigate to Settings > About device > Up to date and tap on the top right button to select ‘Local install’. Select the downloaded to file initiate the installation process.

Unsatisfied users can revert back to OxygenOS 12.1 (Android 12), however, that process will erase their device’s internal storage. The installation steps are the same as above, except that a different file has to be downloaded.

Here’s the official changelog provided by the brand detailing all the new features and changes.
