One of the critical components of a water dispensing machine is its filtration mechanism and its filters. A frequently changed filter is something customers hardly latch on to. Xiaomi is marketing its latest dispenser as having a filter that does not require frequent replacement. The MIJIA Desktop Drinking Machine Happy Edition has been unveiled in China. The portable desktop machine comes with a removable pure water bottle design and a single-core filtration process.
The Mijia Desktop Drinking Machine Happy Edition is a refreshed version of the same model launched back in March 2022. The removable water bottle is free of installation on the desktop and can be used instantly. The water bottle is antibacterial and the drinking machine is equipped with RO reverse osmosis filter element with high efficiency. The 6-in-1 composite filter element is a durable and effective measure that needs to be replaced once a year. The new desktop drinking machine uses thick film heating technology to heat the water rapidly within 3 seconds.
The new Mijia Desktop Drinking Machine can be operated via the Mijia App apart from its onboard buttons. Some of the modes available are milk preparation, normal temperature, and boiling water. The machine can be adjusted to the desired temperature with just a click of a button. You can also use the Mijia App to set the child lock function, as an additional layer of safety in the household.
The drinking machine has a starting price of 1,499 yuan (~$222) while the filter cost 299 yuan (~$44). Xiaomi is mum on a possible global availability of the new desktop drinking machine.
